Good news: We finally have a sewing machine!
Bad news: I'm low on money (as always) and there's less than one month of summer left. D=

So, it's been a pretty boring vacation for me- basically lazing around all day at home since my dad won't let me go out, which I find a bit stupid considering I'm officially a college student as of orientation a couple of weeks ago. I really want to go shopping, too, and I'm tempted to buy things online, but there's the issue of my checking account depleting chunk by chunk every time I give in to the temptation, and I hate seeing the numbers dwindle down. =/ I mean, I'm a true Asian with my cash monies...

I'm anxious for my upcoming college experience- I'm both excited for the freedom and opportunities, but nervous about starting all over again. I'll have to get accustomed to new school/ living conditions and build another network of friends. *Sigh* Don't even get me started on how I'll probably die under the academic pressure and sleepless nights that I'm pretty sure are coming.

Well, enough of school-talk since it's summer. I'm about 80% sure I'll be at SacAnime on August 29th. ^_^ And, hmm... Oh yeah! I'm trying my best to go to the J-Pop Summit Festival in SF's Japantown on August 15th. I really want to check out whatever booths they might have and the brand new J-Pop center, which has the first- and so far, only- specialty Lolita clothing shop in the USA. Go San Francisco! 8D I kind of want to go there for the movie showing on August 14th, too, but I don't think my dad will want to drive me or let me take public transportation all the way to the city two days in a row. ^_^;;;
